Sometimes we want a disruption in life, sometimes we're sick of disruptions. The gospel is one of those great disruptions that will really shake up who we are and what we do. Does your life have a purpose or is it irrelevant? When we follow Jesus, we have a great purpose in our lives. We get to connect with people and bring them into a place of grace.

Follow: the clothing

How are we recognized as Jesus followers? Christians don't have culturally distinctive homes, jobs, or clothing. Instead, Christians are clothed with distinctive character: compassion, patience, humility, gentleness, and kindness. It is hard to stay clothed in these items, but the power of forgiveness will change us.

Follow: the attitude

What's your attitude when you follow? Fearful or fearless?

Follow: the invitation

Does religion strike you as a little odd or strange? Sometimes people do things that seem off to people from the outside. And maybe that is how Christianity strikes you. But there is a simple word for the Christian life: follow. When we follow someone that wants to be with us, that isn't od or strange. That is a life-changing relationship.

What defines us? What makes us us? When life is so full of failures and successes, we need someone else's success to tell us who we are!
